Makoto and Danielle
Makoto and Danielle Butler are the new campus leaders of YWAM Denver. They are passionate about community, young people, and the nations. Danielle did a DTS and a secondary school here at YWAM Denver almost ten years ago and Makoto served at his local church in Colorado as a youth intern for over eight years. When they got married they worked with Circuit Riders for three years championing high school and college students to know God and make Him known. In September 2022 they took up the position to oversee and help run the base and cafe. Their son, Kenzo, has changed their world and they love doing ministry with him. This position is one they hold in great reverence due to the rich history of the base and the excitement they have for the future that YWAM Denver holds.
Tyler and Haylee
Tyler and Haylee have been doing ministry and missions for over 7 years. In the fall of 2022 they joined staff at YWAM Denver and their hearts are to see young people activated with the Gospel and empowered to do wild things for God. After leading numerous outreaches and seeing hundreds of youth come to know Jesus, their hunger to see a generation flipped upside down has only grown stronger. Even before becoming parents, Tyler and Haylee’s desire has always been to be a father and a mother to those who are in need and to cultivate family wherever they go. Aside from ministry, they love coffee, traveling, playing board games, watching movies, and spending time with their active baby girl Reese. They believe that ministry should be fun and that everyone deserves to have a cringy nickname.

Anisia is passionate about coffee ministry, studying the Bible, and living a life of sharing God's love with people all over the world. She grew up doing missions with YWAM and has had a heart for missions from a young age. She did her DTS and her DBS at YWAM Orlando. During those schools her heart for missions grew even more and in September 2022 God put YWAM Denver on her heart and she decided to join staff. She’s very excited to see what God is going to do with the base and how he is going to change peoples lives here at YWAM Denver.
Anders and Emma
Anders and Emma joined YWAM Denver at the end of November 2022. They desire to see revival in the younger generation and to see lives transformed because of Jesus. They desire to reflect Jesus in all that they think, say, and do. The fear of the Lord is something they value deeply as a family. They have a heart for the nations and to be a light in their community. Last year they had their first baby and have loved learning more about the Father’s heart through loving their daughter. They enjoy hiking, traveling to new places, seeing new cultures, and beating Makoto in basketball.
Brooke is 19 years old and passionate about the study of the bible, worship, and getting out to the nations to share the Good News. While going through DTS and DBS at YWAM Orlando, she started to understand more about having a real, intimate relationship with the Lord, and learned more about his character and nature through His Word. After visiting YWAM Denver in early 2023 she went home feeling the Lord calling her step into a new season and to join the mission here in Denver. She is thrilled to see how God is going to use each person who comes through the base and how they will get take part in spreading Gods love.
Hannah-Grace is 20 years old and is devoted to see the people of her generation experience the transformational love of God. Everyday she longs to see people who thought they couldn’t be saved, transformed by the Gospel and live their life abundantly with Jesus. She grew up in Colorado and lived in Montana as well! She did her DTS and SOMD in Orlando where she fell in love with Jesus and discipleship to see whole-hearted, committed followers who will do anything for the Bridegroom. She enjoys worship, spoken poetry, painting, mountains, and any spicy snack.
Paula was so blessed to have received the truth about God as a little child and pursue Him all the way to her DTS at YWAM Freiburg in Germany. She was a part of the outdoor track due to fact that she grew up in the mountains of Colorado and loves the outdoors. She is relational to her core and thrives in wholehearted community.
