I’ve been asked, “What’s it take to prepare for a school at YWAM Denver?” My answer? A lot.
It starts with our registrar department. They do an amazing job communicating with our potential students as well as with our new students preparing to come. The school staff begin reading and praying over the many applications that are filled out. We have students apply for our DTS programs from around the country and around the world. (Currently, we have students from North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia coming to this DTS!) When we receive an application, we immediately begin praying for the student. We pray for their families, relationships, their finances and ask God to prepare their hearts for this life changing time. We also have lots of preparation logistically. We get everyone here involved. Everyone from the kitchen department, to the hospitality department, to the maintenance department, to the school secretary, to the guest speaker coordinators all play a very important role in preparing.
It’s a great privilege working with these people at YWAM Denver. Not only are we brothers and sisters in Christ, but we are friends. It’s an amazing picture of the body of Christ working together. And we’re excited to have you join us soon!
