Packing List
Packing presents a unique challenge because between Denver and your outreach location you can find yourself in all kinds of weather. We recommend clothing that is easily layered. We have established a dress code that reflects an attitude of modesty, personal value, and professionalism to promote a positive learning and working atmosphere.

Denver, Colorado has a semi-arid continental climate and we experience four distinct seasons each year. You can expect some sudden changes in weather because of our position near the Rocky Mountains.

Denver, Colorado uses Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) in the summer and Mountain Standard Time (MST) in the winter.

Power
The electrical current is 120V and 60 Hz. The plug types are A and B. YWAM Denver does not supply adapters or voltage converters; if you need them please bring your own.

Daily Schedule
Your YWAM school starts with 3 months of classroom training on-campus at YWAM Denver. Every week you get to learn something new; teachers from around the country come to pass on their knowledge and experience to you. Class is typically Monday-Thursday, 10:30-12:00 PM and 1:00-2:30 PM. Your week will also include community worship, prayer, small groups, daily work duties, intercession for the Nations, one-on-one time with God, and spending time with our fun YWAM Denver community.

The Bridge Cafe
The Bridge Cafe is located in our student center and is open during the day Monday through Friday. It is a great place to study, meet with friends, or grab a nice cup of craft coffee.

Dietary Restrictions
As you prepare to join us, please be aware that your tuition covers 3 meals daily in our dining room served buffet-style, but we are unable to safely cater to special diets. For the options available click the learn more link!

Housing
During the lecture phase, most students stay on our campus. The guys and girls are on separate floors. All bedrooms are dormitory style and most bedrooms have a bathroom attached. Each room holds about 8 people. We also own a house called the Rez. It is located just a few minutes from the main campus. The Rez is where most of our single staff members live. It is also the house where we host speakers and visitors. Students may also have the opportunity to live at the Rez depending on space availability. Housing at the Rez is dormitory style too. There is a large kitchen and living areas with plenty of space to hang out.

Get Around
Our campus is close to grocery stores, and restaurants. We also have a train station down the road you can take to downtown Denver and the surrounding area. If you own a car, you are welcome to bring it with you. There is space for you to park it both at the Rez and on campus.
